The aim of this study was to determine the antibacterial activity Cathormion umbellatum extracts against seven antibiotic-resistant bacteria. pods, leaves and branches C. were extracted with ethanol methanol. disc diffusion assay used screen broth microdilution colorimetric measure minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) bactericidal (MBC) values. result indicated that highest inhibition zone (11 mm) presented in ethanolic pods extract multidrug resistance Klebsiella pneumoniae. lowest MIC value 0.05 mg/mL obtained from branch colistin resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa. MBC values 1.56 when using methanol all test This is first report have potential eliminate bacteria patients. These findings show effect umbellatum.
